About Us

Our Objectives

Youth 4 Unity has 9 objectives.

(1) operate for the public benefit to assist, educate and develop young people;

(2) to advance the education of Australian children in the culture of Middle Eastern and North Africa;

(3) the promotion of Middle Eastern , North African and other emerging communities arts and cultures to Australian children;

(4) to advance tolerance, understanding and social harmony by and between children in Australia from different cultures, including to counteract racial abuse and bullying;

(5) the promotion of Australia and Australian indigenous culture to children in Australia from other cultures;

(6) to assist children present in Australia in the relief of poverty and misfortune of whose family are or were citizens or residents of Middle East or North Africa;

(7) pursue the above objects by the production of concerts, exhibitions, festivals, musicals and the like and exchange of books, television shows, or other broadcasts;

(8) bridging the gap between cultures and linking Australian youth through educational and cultural exchange programs; and

(9) supporting youth leadership activities and programs through events such as youth conferences and congresses.
